Ella Kimmons, 91, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was native of McDavid, and had lived in the Pensacola area most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Kimmons; her parents, Annie Lou Nobles and Hubert Richard Johnson; four brothers, CH Johnson,HR Johnson, WM Johnson and Churchill Johnson; two sisters, Betty Ann Harris and Patricia Cockrell; and her son-in-law, Norman Maki. She is survived by her children, Mary Alice Maki of Jacksonville, Florida, Andrew (Marie) Kimmons of Pensacola, and Sabrina (William) McDonald of Milton; two brothers, Marty Johnson of Pace, and Dudley Paul Johnson; as well as, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at Lewis Funeral Home in Milton, Florida, at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2016, with Rev. Mike Poston officiating. Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., prior to the service. There will be a private burial at Barrancas National Cemetery the next day.
