Emogene Nichols

Emogene Stephenson Nichols 1924-2016 Emogene Stephenson Nichols, 91, of Navarre, died Thursday, February 18, 2016. Mrs. Nichols was a native of Tampa Florida but had been a resident of the area since 1981, coming here from Virginia. She was a member of Billory Baptist Church. Mrs. Nichols is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Nichols. Mrs. Nichols is survived by two sons, Eddie D. Holland and wife Cindy, and Paul Franklin Nichols; daughter, Charlene Nichols Thompson and husband George; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 12 o’clock noon, on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, with Rev. Doug Gilmore officiating. Burial will follow in the Barrancas National Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre, directing. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. prior to the services, at the Funeral Home. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions, in Mrs. Nichols’ name, to Billory Baptist Church (Billory Baptist Church, 8162 Stillwater Cove, Navarre, Florida 32566).
