Esther Janet Preston Janet Preston, 81, of Milton, FL went home to be with the Lord late Wednesday night April 23, 2014 at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a native of Lincoln, Michigan and has lived in the Milton area the past 50 years. She was a active member of the First Baptist Church of Milton and was instrumental in the formation of the Widows Outreach Ministry for the church. She also sang alto in the Celebration Choir of First Baptist Church of Milton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Preston. Survivors include her twin daughters, Sherry Preston of Pensacola, FL and Terry (Garry) Nace of Columbia, KY; one son, Ryan Preston of Stockton, AL; 7 grand children; 6 great great grandchildren; 2 great great great grandchildren; one brother, James Gonyea of Lincoln, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Janet will be 11AM on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Dr. David Spencer, officiating.
