Everett F. Ruzowski went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 18, 2018. He was born on September 29, 1935, in Elyria, Nebraska. After serving 26 years he retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1980, and has been a resident of this area since. He was known to many as just “Ski.” Ski was from a family of two brothers and five sisters. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Michelle; his son, Michael; one younger brother; and one sister. He wishes to be remembered for his ability to make people laugh and always had a joke ready for any company or occasion. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel (7794 Navarre Parkway, Navarre, Florida 32566.) Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Ski’s name, to the Wounded Warrior Project.
