Obituary
F L Pinckard, 101, resident of Pace since 1948, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. He was the last of the pioneer residents of Woodbine Road. F L was the third of eleven siblings born to Samuel and Eula Stevens Pinckard. He was born and grew up in Elba, Alabama. He was preceded in death by Neta (his wife of 63 years); daughter, Rosalind Cook; and grandson, Russell Pinckard. F L is survived by three sons and their wives, Flynn & Naomi, Tharold & Sharon of Pace, and Jack & Anne of Allentown; son-in-law, Clarence Ray Cook of Chumuckla; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Billy (Betty), Faye White of Pace, and Samuel (Shirley) of Panama City; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. We would like to extend a special thank you to his caregiver and friend, Evelyn Smith of Milton. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel. Graveside service will follow at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery, Chumuckla, Florida. Visitation will be held 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., prior to the services.
