Ferrell Boles Obituary

Ferrell Dean Boles, 79, of Bagdad, passed away on Wednesday evening, April 29, 2015. Mr. Boles was born in Laurel Hill, Florida to Bonnie Bernard Boles, I, and Rachel Catherine Gordon Boles. He had resided in the Bagdad, Florida area since 1947. He retired from American Cyanamid/Cytec/Sterling Fibers with over 35 years of service. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Bagdad Garcon Point Water System for almost 15 years. Mr. Boles is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Lucy Smith Boles; two brothers, Kenneth Boles and Milton Boles; two sisters-in-law, Charlotte Boles and Mary Lib Boles Alford; four nephews, BB Boles III, Mark Boles, Judd Boles and Chad Boles; nieces, Dawn Michele Zardaksh and Kenda Boles; niece, Jennifer Smith Bonds; great-nephew, Jeff Rinehart; great-niece, Ashley (Johnny) Parr; soon to be great-great-nephew, Holden Parr; and other nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Boles will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, May 4, 2015, at the Rinehart – Mt. Nebo Cemetery near Marion, Alabama. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel is in charge of local arrangements. Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home in Selma, Alabama is in charge of burial arrangements.
