Floyd Wilson Young, 76, of Munson, Florida, passed away, Friday, May 25, 2018. Floyd was a native of Milton, Florida, and was one of four children of the late James Andrew and Hattie Thelma Young. He was a U.S. Airforce Veteran where he served as an Air Policeman for four years; a retired electrician from Lamar Outdoor Advertising; and a faithful member of Hickory Hammock Baptist Church for more than 38 years. Floyd is survived by a daughter, Juliana (Matt) Robards; a son, Travis (Kuchrisus) Young; a sister, Louise Davis, a brother, James Young; eight grandchildren, Blake, Nevaeh, Emma, Chase, Connor, Cage, Phury and Phoenix. Floyd’s “Celebration of Life” service will be at held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Hickory Hammock Baptist Church, in Milton, with Pastor Carl Gallups officiating. Burial will follow services in the Lewis Williams Memorial Cemetery, with Military Honors, and Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing. Visitation for family and friends will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service. The family wishes to thank the staff at Covenant Hospice for the care given to their father, grandfather and brother during his time of illness.
