Frances Miley

Frances Virginia Miley 1927 - 2013 Frances Virginia Miley of Milton, Florida, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 after a lengthy illness at home surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Goshen High School in Goshen, Alabama in 1945. In the 1970’s she owned and operated Merle Norman cosmetic studio in Milton and most recently owned and operated a family owned auto repair shop, Miley’s Garage, also in Milton for the past 35 Years. She was known by most as Miss Virginia or simply Maw-Maw. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Annie Lou Reddock of Troy, Alabama, husband of more than 50 years, George (Ed) Miley, son, James Miley, grandsons, Eddie Morgan and Ronnie Miley, and a granddaughter, Sharon Miley. She is survived by two children, Bobby Miley and Linda Allen both of Milton, 5 grandchildren, Robert Miley, Mike Morgan, Angie (Jerry) Bowers, Bobby Miley and George Ammons, along with 8 great grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and a special caregiver and great granddaughter, Kristina Long of Milton. In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Milton Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be, Matt Miley, Tony Miley, Mike Morgan, Bobby Miley, Brandon Devine, and Josh Lloyd. Honorary pallbearers well be, Tommy Leonard, Ricky Turman, Justin Long and Kevin Patane. Give her eternal rest, O Lord, and may Your light shine upon her forever. Receive her soul and present her to God the Most High.
