Georg Pendl

Georg Anton Pendl, 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Navarre, Florida, on Sunday, January 15, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born in Budapest, Hungary, but he and his family later moved to Germany during WWII. At the age of 19 he immigrated to the United States. He opened his own business in California before moving to the white sand beaches of Northwest Florida. He loved working in his yard, playing tennis, and spending time with his family. Georg is survived by his wife, Glenda Pendl; daughters, Emilee Pendl, Leila Pendl, and Tanya Hall (Husband David Hall); sisters, Maria Tillner, and Edith Wilker; grandchildren Chelsea Fancher (husband Sam Fancher), Anton Liberopoulos, Nikki Hall, and Christina Hall; and nephews, Ulrich Tillner, Thomas Tillner and Frank Wilker. You accompanied us as husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. You will be dearly missed. In thankfulness for your love and caring you will forever be in our thoughts. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2017, at Westwood Baptist Church. Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
