Gerald Allen Carr, 77, of Munson, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at his home. Gerald was born August 10, 1941, in his parents’ home in Munson, Florida. He was the son of the late Willie Myles and Lizzy Mae (Parker) Carr. He retired from Florida Department of Transportation. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. He will be truly missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Frances Joyner. Gerald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patsy A. Carr; two children, Teresa Carr Key and Gary Allen Carr; three grandchildren, Tiffany A. Nolan, Jason Ray McLean and William Allen Carr; two great-grandsons, Chase W. Nolan and Willie (Chash) Nolan. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers and sisters, Robert Carr, Syble Smith, Faye Chavers, Katie Nixon, Earl Carr, Noah Carr; many nieces and nephews; and good friends. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Pleasant Home Baptist Church. Gerald will be laid to rest in the church cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
