Gina Stinson Obituary

Gina Jo Stinson March 18, 1955-January 11, 2014 Gina Jo Stinson, daughter of Don and Grace Stinson of Pensacola, Florida passed from this mortal life to her eternal spiritual life on January 11, 2014 at West Florida Hospital. She is survived by her only son Zack Stinson (Ashley), three grandchildren Caleb and Caitlin Stinson and Rebecca Bryan, a sister Sharon Renee Palmer (Tony) of Saraland, Alabama, parents Don and Grace Stinson and a whole host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces. Gina was born on March 18, 1955 at Turner Air Force Base in Albany, Georgia. After her dad, Don, returned from service in Korea, the family moved to Pensacola. Gina graduated from Woodham High School in 1973. After her marriage to Gary Jones she returned to Pensacola where she worked at several places before retiring on disability. Gina was a wonderful person. She was free spirited. She never met a stranger nor held a grudge against anyone. Her home was an open refuge for anyone who needed food, a bath, or a place to sleep. She did not know how to say "no" to anyone in need. Gina loved her family dearly and she was very proud of everyone in her family. When Gina came around, the room lit up! She made sure everyone was laughing before she left. Gina was also an animal lover. Her home was a refuge for cats as well. We are going to miss your big brown eyes, Gina. We love you very much! Lewis Funeral Home of Pace, Florida is in charge of funeral arrangements. Visitation is from 1:00-2:00 on Wednesday with graveside service at 3:00 p.m. at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery in Chumuckla. Memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice of NW Florida.
