Godfrey Tom Fagot Sr., 79, of Milton, Florida, passed away, Thursday, June20, 2019. Tom was a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before moving and making his home in Milton, Florida. He was one of two children born to Godfrey Emmett Fagot and Julia Wilberta Fagot Stevens. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran from 1962-1966. He was a member of the Pace Masonic Temple and retired from the Local 198 Pipefitters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a member of the John Hagee Ministry. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Emily Rogers; his wife, Lucille May Grace Fagot; daughter, Anita Lucille Leonard; and son-in-law, Terry Leonard. Tom is survived by his children: His daughter, Annette "Bit" Fagot; her children, Savannah Messina, Dylan and Beth Messina, and Cole Culley; their children, Tayla Lewis, Jaxon Lewis, Dallas Messina, and Hayleigh Messina. His son, Godfrey Tom Fagot Jr.; and his child Corey Diamond. His daughter, Anita Leonard's children, Paulette Layton, and Jessica Shaffett; their children, Olivia Layton, Hunter Layton, Blake Cuti, and Skylar Shaffett. His daughter, Debra Morace; her children, Shane Dupree, and Anthony "Kip" Dupree Sr.; their children, Taylor Dupree, Anthony "Tony" Dupree Jr., Coleman Dupree, Thomas Dupree, and Mason Dupree; and their children, Eden, and Nova Clair. And his daughter, Debbie Roussel; and her children Blaine Roussel, Kirk Roussel, Kyle Roussel, Bradly Roussel. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2019, at Barrancas National Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Poston officiating. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements.
