Irene Copeland Davidson passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the age of 90 years. Irene was born the youngest of six children, on January 23, 1928, in Owassa, AL. She grew up in Castleberry, AL, and Jay, FL; and graduated from Jay High School. Irene raised her family in Milton, FL. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Assembly of God faith. She was an avid gardener and tended to her flowers until she was no longer able to live alone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Peacock and Ethel Mae Waller Peacock; her sister, Lula Quinley; four brothers, Louis, Clyde, Fred, and John; her first husband, J. T. Copeland; her second husband, Buel Davidson; her daughter, Linda Wehren; her son-in-law, Keith Wehren; and her son-in-law, John Crooke. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her surviving daughters, Margaret Crooke and Betty (Jim) Costa; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Pastor Duke Barrow officiating (6405 Highway 90 West, Milton FL 32570). Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.
