James Foley

James Robert Foley 1926-2012 James Robert Foley, 86, was born in Northport, Alabama, to the late Marion and Audrey Hyche Foley. James was a heavy equipment operator with the City of Pensacola and also worked as a deputy part time. He really enjoyed fishing, gospel music, and going to the “fun bunch” with friends. James had been living at Sandy Ridge Health and Rehabilitation for 1 year and a half. The staff always treated him with so much love and kindness, and he adored everyone there. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry Foley; brothers, J.L. Foley and Marion “Junior” Foley; sister, Yvonne Foley. James will be remembered as a warm, loving husband of 65 years to his wonderful wife, Joyce Foley. Left to cherish is memories are his children, Sherry Stafford (Jesse) and Diane Cooper; grandchildren, Dreama Brazwell, Rusty Foley, Crystal Hogan, Jessica Porter (Eddie), and Justin Stafford; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a sister, Sue Mammilli. He always had a bright smile and will be missed beyond any words that could ever be expressed. Funeral Service will be 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Hickory Hammock Baptist Church with Pastor Carl Gallups officiating. Visitation will be at 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lewis Williams Cemetery.
