James Moring

James Henry "Jimmy" Moring, Jr., of Milton, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Jimmy was born in Gainesville, Florida, on September 13, 1959. Jimmy attended Santa Rosa County schools and graduated from Milton High School in 1977. He attended church services at New Testament Church in Milton, Florida. Jimmy was a plumber by trade. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James Moring, Sr.; his stepfather, Beauford Barry; his wife, Carmen Raphael Moring; and brother, Robbie “Grover” Barry. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Grace Teston Barry, of Milton, Florida; his sons, Johnny Belew and Dylan Moring, both of Milton, Florida; two sisters, JoAnn (Andy) Fullerton, of Milton, Florida, and Lisa (Todd) Bell, of Robertsdale, Alabama; one brother, George William Moring, of Gainesville, Florida; two grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jimmy is also survived by Connie Kimrey, his girlfriend and companion who has given him love and care the past two years. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Eddie L. Teston, Bruce Teston, and Mac Teston officiating Family visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.; and public visitation from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., prior to the service. The family wishes to thank the staff of 4 West and 7th Floor nurses stations, Dr. S Saghir, Dr. Samual Sauer, Internal Medicine Department at Sacred Heart Hospital, and Emerald Coast Hospice. Jimmy’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Connie Kimrey, her family, and the Paradise Island community for their love and care of our beloved “Jimbo”.
