Janet Mary Elizabeth Thorp Adams 1935-2014 Janet Mary Elizabeth Thorp Adams, of Milton, Florida was carried away to her home in heaven to be with her Savior and Lord on January 17, 2014. Mrs. Adams came to America as a young lady and wife to Erby Adams Jr., Janet was a nurse in England and kindergarten teacher here in America. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Erby L Adams Jr.; a mother, Maud Thorp Armstrong; and a father, Harry Thorp of Suffolk England. She is survived by two sons, Erby Lewis Adams, III, of Milton and Mark D (Debora) Adams of Munson; two granddaughters, Jessica and Amber of Munson; a brother, Gerald (Ann Marie)Thorpe; two sisters, Gillian (Skip) Henley and Carolyn (Steve) Dunman; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Reverend John Webb, officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the funeral home.
