Janice Iola Pappal, 78, of Pace, Florida, passed away, Friday, November 1, 2019. Janice moved to the Pensacola area from Pennsylvania, and was the youngest of five children born to the late Earl and Lois Goehring. Janice graduated from Robert Morris College and was a member of the Campus Church. Janice is survived by her husband of 48 years, Stephen Pappal, of Pace, Florida; two sons, Benjamin (Amy) Pappal, of Pace, Florida, and Matthew Pappal, of Atlantic, Iowa; and seven grandchildren, Alan Pappal, Kaylee Pappal, Jarick Pappal, Stephen Pappal, Dain Pappal, Kylan Pappal, and Riana Pappal. A Memorial Service for Janice Pappal will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019, at Mullenix Chapel, Pensacola, Florida, with Rev Josh Burdick officiating. Burial preceding the service in Barrancas National Cemetery. Lewis Funeral Home of Pace has been entrusted with arrangements. The family requests memorial donations may be made, in Janice’s name, to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105.
