It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Lynn Bang, 63, of Neligh, Nebraska, announces his passing on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, in Pensacola, Florida, after fighting a battle with cancer. Jeff was born February 25, 1954, in Fremont, Nebraska, and graduated from Fremont High School in 1972. Jeff had a great passion for the outdoors and loved hiking, camping, hunting and fishing. He was an amazing artist and extremely talented woodworker. Jeff has lived in many places to include five years in Colorado, and fifteen years in California, before finally settling back home in Nebraska. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Bang. Jeff is survived by his daughters, Tiffany (Travis) Fulton of Navarre, Florida, and grandchildren Nathaniel, Corey and Tyler, and Jessica (Marc) Crnkovic of Las Vegas, Nevada, and grandchildren Gage and Lynlee; his mother, Dolores Bang and siblings Jane (Jamie) Wiebold, Kent (Julie) Bang, Phil (Vickie) Bang, and Amy (Berndt) Hamel; along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by the endearing mother of his daughters, Cindy Bang. A service will be held in his honor at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017, at the Ludvigsen Mortuary (1249 E. 23rd St., Fremont, NE 68025) with Pastor Leland Foreman officiating.
