Jerry L. Vincent, “PawPaw”, 78, was called home Saturday, August 3, 2019. He was surrounded by his family, in Milton, Florida. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and then moved to Pensacola, Florida. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He retired from ECUA after serving 20+ years. He’s a member of Scenic Hills Church of Christ. Mr. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Will & Margaret Vincent. Mr. Jerry Vincent is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Dicie Pierce Vincent; and his daughter, Beverly, of Cantonment. He is also survived by his extended family, two step-daughters, Tracey (Mike) Glasgow and Tamie (Richard) Peterson; three step-sons, Rusty (Roxanne) Pierce, Randy Pierce and Ricky (Lisa) Pierce; one brother and two sisters; and a very special buddy, Tristan. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Scenic Hills Church of Christ (1295 East 9 Mile Road, Pensacola, Florida 32514.) Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., prior to the service. Lewis Funeral Home of Milton has been entrusted with arrangements. Anyone who knew Jerry, knew there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for anyone in need. He would rather give gifts than receive. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Sandy Ridge Health & Rehabilitation for taking such good care of him during his stay. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made, in Jerry’s name, to Mount Dora Children’s Home or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
