JoAnn Dingley Obituary

Jo Ann was the first of six children born to the late Joseph and Esther Nick of Hibbing, Minnesota. She was a graduate of Baylor University August 10, 1973. She was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Army Medical Corps since 1969, first as Sergeant First Class, then as a Chief Warrant Officer, Physician Assistant. Following her 17 years active duty, she served another 15 years with the USAR in the medical field. She served a total of 32 years. She was a member of Brit Ahm Messianic Synagogue in Pensacola. She was a life member of the NRA. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her younger brother, Neil. She is survived by her husband, Robert T. Dingley of Pace; her brother, Dale Nick; three sisters, Janeen Long and Phyllis Nick of Princeton, MN, and Gloria Allen of Mineapolis, MN; several nieces and nephews in Minnesota. She is also survived by her step-children, Christopher Dingley of Georgetown, TX, Michael Dingley of Milton, FL and Elizabeth Dingley of Bath, ME. Graveside Services for Jo Ann N. Dingley will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Barrancas National Cemetery, onboard Pensacola Naval Air Station, with Military Honors and Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Santa Rosa Medical Group and the Santa Rosa Medical Center for the love and care given to our beloved Jo Ann during her illness.
