John Cox

John A. Cox, died at home on Thursday, February 16, 2016, due to complications from Leukemia. John graduated from high school and enlisted in the Air Force in August 1965, and after 30 years of distinguished service to his country he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. Married for over 45 years to his wife, Anna, he was a loving and devoted husband. Anna passed away in September 2012. John is survived by his brother, Steven (Mary Ellen) of Southington, Connecticut. He is also survived by his family in England: stepson, Trevor (Barbara) Clarkson; grandchildren, Nicola Wade, Stephanie Flory, Matthew Clarkson; and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, with Father John Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in John’s name, to the American Cancer Society.
