John Thomas Kent,71, passed away Friday, February 16,2018. John was born October 4, 1945, in Waterbury, Connecticut. He served two years in the Air Force as a cryptologist then attended the University of West Florida, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering. He retired from Air Products after 26 years of service. He was an avid bowler, fisherman, golfer and hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Nancy Kent. He is survived by his wife, Inez Kent; brother, Andrew Kent; son, Earl Lawson; and three grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Mike Poston officiating. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
