John Warren Rush, 71, of Milton passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Mr. Rush was born in Kokomo, Indiana, and had resided in Milton since 1970. He was retired from the United States Navy with over 20 years of services. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred & Clarence Rush; and two brothers, Tom & Richard Rush. Mr. Rush is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margie Rush; four children, Damaries Burgett of Milton, Fla., Bryan Rush of Miami, Fla., Robert Benner of Emmingsville, Pa., and Jeffrey Rush of Crestview, Fla.; three sisters, Anne Kelly, Marilyn Nesbitt, and Donna Cook; fourteen Grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Graveside services with full military honors, will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Barranacas National Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, directing.
