Johnnie Lewis Cordeiro May 7, 1949 - October 15, 2011 Johnnie Lewis Cordeiro, age 62, of Pace, FL passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Johnnie was a native and a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa County and retired from the University of West Florida after 37 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Cecelia Faulk; brother, George Cordeiro. Johnnie is survived by his wife Gail Cordeiro; two sons, Leon Benton and Donnie Harris, two daughters; Julie Diep and Jenny (James) Cordeiro, three brothers, Bruce (Kathy) Hopkins, Harry (Peggy) Faulk, and Larry (Penny) Faulk; four sisters, Vera McGuire, Marty (Charlie) Longwirth, Debbie (Clifton) Benton, Christine (Louis) Hall; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 12:00PM October 22, 2011, at Lewis Funeral Home Pace Chapel with Minister Mike Medford, officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 21, 2011 from 6 to 8PM at Lewis Funeral Home Pace Chapel. Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
