Joseph Lanum, Jr., 57, of Milton, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He graduated from Woodstock High School in Woodstock, Illinois. He was a long-time employee of Mold-Ex. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Lanum Sr. and Alma Birkeland Lanum; sisters, Inga Olson and Grace Coughlin; and brother, Arnold Eik. Joseph is survived by his children, Joseph Lanum III, Jason Lanum and Gina Lanum; sister, Mary Whorton; brothers-in-law, Donald Whorton, Oscar Olson and Bud Coughlin; and sister-in-law, Judith Kimye Eik, of Withop Harbor, Illinois. He is also survived by nieces, Jessica Whorton, Cheryl Eik, Carol Eik and Linda Kay Olson; and nephews, Kenneth Whorton, Jonathan Whorton, Michael Eik , Warren Eik, Corwin Coughlin and Kim Coughlin. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, with Rev. Mike Poston officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. The family would like to that the staff at Lewis Funeral Home for their time, courtesy and care given.
