Josephine Parrish

Josephine Parrish, 88, of Milton, Florida, passed away, Friday, June 23, 2017. Josephine was a native of Greenville, Georgia and was the third of six children, born on January 11, 1929 to the late Joseph and Lula McLaughlin. She married Clifford Parrish on February 18, 1953. She was a parishioner of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Milton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Parrish; daughter Leslie Bradshaw; three sisters, Ruth McLaughlin, Anne Carroll, and Claire Lukehart; and two brothers, James McLaughlin and William McLaughlin. Josephine is survived by her daughter, Debra (Michael) Stafford of Milton; two grandsons, John (Ashley) Stafford of Milton, and Joseph (Rebekah) Stafford of Little Rock, Arkansas; three great-grandchildren, Natalie Stafford of Milton, and Andrew and Edward Stafford of Little Rock; three nephews, Dave Lukehart, and Richard Lukehart of Milton, and Lee Lukehart of Atmore, Alabama; a niece Mandy Watson of McDonough, Georgia; and a special friend, Ann Bowman of Milton. Funeral Services for Josephine Parrish will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church (6451 Park Avenue, Milton) with Msgr. Michael Reed officiating. Visitation at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow services at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Milton with Lewis Funeral Home directing. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Emerald Coast Hospice for the love and care given to Josephine during the time of her illness.
