Judith Hicks

Judith Jean Hicks February 2, 1952 – January 4, 2020 On Saturday January 4, 2020, Judith “Judy” Hicks, 67, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at her home in Crestview. Judy worked 17 years at Oriole Beach Elementary School in the cafeteria, she loved the kids and they loved her. Judy touched many lives in one way or another. She was a straight forward person, if she had something to say, she said it and wasn’t scared to tell anyone what she thought. After getting sick she loved to sit on her porch and watch Mother Nature’s animals, especially hummingbirds, she loved them. Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Jo. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, William “Bill” Hicks; daughter, Angela Hicks; son, William “Bubba” Hicks; daughter, Brenda “BB” Hicks; and her pride and joy, Logan and Austin Hicks, her two grandkids. As well as many nieces and nephews. Judy has always had a love for angels, so now she has become one. Graveside service will be held at Rouse Hicks Cemetery starting at 12 pm Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
