KC Barlow Milton, Florida Obituary

KC Barlow

Kerry Clyde “K.C.” Barlow, 57, passed away peacefully Monday, December 18, 2017, at his home in Navarre, Florida. Family was by his side and he had come to a faithful relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In recent days he had grown to know a peace that his eternal future was in God's loving hands. Born October 19, 1960, in Hicksville, Ohio, he was the last of seven children of parents, William N. Barlow and Mary A. McClarty, who have preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Lake Weir High School, Belleview, Florida, and Northwest Florida State College of Ocala and, later, Fort Walton, Florida, with bachelors in nuclear medicine and computer science. Family was the core of his life. He enjoyed sports, especially the Florida Gators, lively conversations, camping, bonfires and socializing with good friends. K.C. loved all variety of seafood and could grill a mean steak. He was proud of his Irish heritage and had an unfulfilled dream of visiting Ireland. He will be sorely missed and wants you all to join him some day with Jesus in heaven. Besides his parents, K.C. was preceded in death by siblings, Kevin S. Barlow and Cheryl K. Paulson. He is survived by a loving wife of 22 years, Arnita E. Barlow; daughters, Kerri E. Barlow, Amy (Tristan) Snellgrove, Leanna (David) Velleca; grandchildren, Roman, Tristin, Tucker, Dominic, C.J. and Everett; siblings, Maureen Thompson (Tom), Shaun Barlow, William Barlow (Melody) and Patty Barlow (Melissa); and many nieces and nephews, with an especially close relationship with his nephew, Kevin S. Barlow, Jennifer and their three children who knew him as “Uncle Grandpa.” A Private Service for family and close friends will be conducted by his brother, Reverend William R. Barlow, at one of K.C.'s favorite locations.
