Kelly Leigh Lingenfelter Knight, 45, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011, at her home in Roswell , New Mexico . Kelly was born July 6, 1966, in Tallahassee , Florida . In 1994 she graduated from nursing school in Houston, Texas . Her heart’s desire was working caring for the newborns. She had recently moved to Roswell to work in Labor and Delivery at an area hospital. Kelly was preceded in death by her grandparents; Alvin and Leona Lingenfelter, and Fred and Ruby Whitfield. Kelly is survived by three sons, Jacob, Jordan and Hayden Knight all of Milton, Florida; parents, Ralph and Andréa Lingenfelter of Milton, Florida; two brothers, Michael Lingenfelter of Sacramento, California, and Rene’ (Eva) Lingenfelter of Pensacola, Florida; and her nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2011, in Bamberg Chapel, First Baptist Church , Milton , Florida , with Dr. David Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the memorial service (10 a.m.) In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Kelly’s memory to the Joash fund, First Baptist Church , 6797 Caroline Street , Milton , Florida 32570 .
