Kendra Vaughn Wilkerson Fendt October 14, 1981 – January 9, 2014 Kendra Vaughn Wilkerson Fendt, 32, fulfilled God’s plan on Thursday, January 9, 2014. As a child Kendra enjoyed the art of Ballet and singing with the Pensacola Children’s Chorus for 12 years. She continued her love for singing for others at Church, weddings and other events. Kendra received her AA Degree from Florida State University and was an avid and passionate “Noles” fan. She graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Public Relations and was the Marketing Coordinator for Saltmarsh, Cleaveland and Gund in Pensacola. Kendra grew up attending Immanuel Baptist Church in Pace and recently became a member of Woodbine Methodist Church in Pace. Kendra is survived by her husband, Edward Fendt, her daughter Meredith Page Fendt; her parents Michael and Shirley Wilkerson; Grandfather , Alva Wilkerson; Aunts and Uncles Wanda and Bobby Beal, Steven and Kristine Wilkerson, Kurt and Linda Wilkerson, and James Carden; Cousins Stephen (Allison & Charlie) Beal, Cameron, Stephanie, Derrick & Natalie Beal, Eric, Kelly and Evan Wilkerson and T.J. Carden; Father in law Hank (Penny) Fendt; Mother in Law, Cindy Libbey; Brother in Law, Ryan (Kristopher) Fendt and Sister in Law, Korinne (Scott, Zoie & Joe) Ackeridge. Kendra’s life and memory will be Celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Pace. Lewis Funeral Home directing.
