Laura Virginia Nelson, 86, of Milton, went to her heavenly home on July 24, 2015. Virginia was a homemaker. She loved loving on her family through her: always open door, always open heart, laughter, cooking, crafts, and gardening. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Henry Nelson; two daughters Karen (Rick) Richardson, and Margaret (Ray) Harbison; four sons, Anthony (Sheila) Nelson, Randy (Cheri) Nelson, Freddie (Patsy) Nelson, and Michael (Sandra) Nelson; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Fred Rogers and Rev. Rick Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.
