Larry Alfred Glover,70 years old, of Pace, Florida, entered heaven Monday, January 4, 2016.

He was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to the late Alfred and Sarah Glover.

He graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1963; and served in the US Navy from 1963-1966. He retired from Air Products after more than 30 years of employment. He was a member of Northridge Church in Pensacola.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Daniel Glover; his mother, Sarah Winona Glover; and his older brother, Bruce Daniel Glover.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon Glover of Pace; his daughters, Robin Gluchacki and Lisa Glover of Pace; his son, Kevin (Magan) Glover of Milton; five grandchildren, Nena Gluchacki, Gavin Bordelon, Owen Glover, Dawson and McKenzie Glover; two sisters, Betty Alexander, and Bonnie (Dale) Beard; and nieces and nephews he adored.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home in Pace (4777 West Spencerfield Road, Pace, Florida.)

Funeral services for Larry Glover will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Northridge Church, in Pensacola, with Pastor Darryl Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery, in Milton, with military honors. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, directing.

Pallbearers will be: his son Kevin Glover, his nephew Craig Beard, Aaron Simpson, John Butler, Ben Veazey and Wayne Castleberry.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: brother-in-law Jerry Ray, and long-time friends Don Ragland Sr. and Charles O'Quinn.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the HTICU at UAB Hospital and the staff at Covenant Hospice for the love and care provided.
