Lawrence Leroy “Larry” Redden, 64, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He was born December 29, 1953, in Humboldt County, California, to the late Frank Lee Roy and Bonnie Arlene (Hoosier) Redden. Larry was a “Navy husband” for twenty years, traveling the world with his Navy wife and son. After her retirement in 2002 he pursued a career in truck driving, driving for Bullseye Express. He loved to work on cars, and he and his son, Franklin, was currently restoring a 1968 Cougar that his mother gave him. Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Ellen Redden; son, Franklin Leroy (Leigh Ann) Redden; three granddaughters, Kylie Marie, Evelyn Rose and Jayde Kathryn born March 28, 2018; four siblings, Jim (Sandy) Mason, Allen (Joyce) Redden, Terrie Redden, and Crisstopher Huni. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel (5777 West Spencerfield Road, Pace, Florida.) A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m.; with visitation continuing after the service until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Larry’s name to Covenant Hospice.
