Leslie Lamar Ball, age 56, resident of Jay, Florida, passed away at his home Thursday morning, July 12, 2018. Mr. Ball was born, and raised, in Newnan, Georgia, on December 11, 1961. Upon his 17th birthday, he enlisted in the Army, where he completed his high school education. While serving he made a lifetime commitment to serving his country. He was an Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm veteran, and a wounded warrior. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Gene Ball; one sister, Monica Robinson; and one brother, Johnny Teal. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sybil Ball; two step-children; three grandsons; two sisters, Maria Partridge and Jackie Couch, and their families; two brothers, Rev. Billy Ball (Primrose Baptist Church) and Rodney Ball, and their families; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by family and friends. Rest in peace and love. Your work on earth is done. Family graveside of Intermit of remains at Barrancas National Cemetery September 11, 2018 12:30 PM with Army providing Honors
