“If I leave here tomorrow would you still remember me?” Lew Ashley Adkinson lost his battle with cancer on May 21, 2014 He is survived by his mother Christine Adkinson, father Lewis Adkinson and brother Alford Adkinson. Ashley loved all animals and leaves behind two of his favorite cats: PB and Colonel. He was a proud graduate of Pace High School where he played in the marching band for four years. He will be missed by his many friends and loyal customers at Advance Auto Parts in Pace. Ashley loved to listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd and root for his beloved Florida Gators. Many of his happiest days were spent reeling in the big ones on the Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier. Asley loved the lord and followed his divine guidance every day of his life. The family will honor Ashley’s last request and hold no funeral service. “Fly high freebird!”
