Lew Charbonneau Obituary

Lew Charbonneau returned to heaven, very appropriately, on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2015.

He was born to Mildred Brandt Charbonneau and, his adopted father, Augustus Charbonneau, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in 1941. After High School, he turned to military service and served two tours in Germany and three tours in Vietnam during his time in the Army. He loved owning and driving fancy cars and owned several. He started with a brand new 1968 Cadillac Coupe de Ville and ended with a 1993 Special Edition Mustang Convertible.

Most of all, Lew was the loving father of Robert, Kelly and Tracey. And after marrying his beloved Susan in 1996 he became stepfather to Rebecca, Christopher and Kevin. His brother Robert, and his sister Darlene, await him in the heavens.

Lew is survived by his wife Susan, all of his children and step-children, his sister Donna, and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., prior to the services.
