Lillian Stokes Hays, 88, of Milton, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017. Mrs. Hays was born in Milton, Florida, to Barnes L. Stokes and Anna Lee Crosby Stokes. She was a graduate of Milton High School. Mrs. Hays is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil L. Hays; two brothers, Max L. Stokes and Floyd A. Stokes; and a son-in-law, James “Jimmy” Delezen. She is survived by a son, Alan Smith; two daughters, Joann Delezen and Jackie (Allen) Deas; a sister, Sharon Richard; eight grandchildren: the first and her special grandson, Jimbo Delezen, Kristin Thibodeau, Dena Richard, Joani “Buffy” Delezen, Angie Smith, Matt Richard, Luke Richard and John Richard; twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. There will be no services at this time. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
