Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel 6405 Highway 90 West Milton, FL 32570 Elder Frederick Smith, Sr. – Officiating Reverend Antjuan Marsh, Eulogy Obituary for Sister Lisa Cartrice Lewis McClain God saw the road getting rough, The hills was hard to climb, He gently closed her loving eyes, And whispered, “Peace be Thine”. The weary hour, the sleepless nights, The days of pain are past, The ever patient worn out frame, Has found sweet rest at last. Her Beginning: Lisa was the third of three children born to Fred and Mamie Geneva Lewis on August 16, 1970, in Milton, Florida. Her God: She joined the Mount Zion Primitive Baptist at an early age. She was a member of the Female Choir. Her Legacy: She was educated in the public school system of Santa Rosa County, attending Oakhurst Elementary School, King Middle School and Milton High School. She received her Certified Nurse’s Assistant Certificate from Fortis Institute in Pensacola, Florida. Her Work: She worked for the Gulf Coast Physicians Partners, NAS Whiting Field Naval Hospital and Sacred Heart Medical Park in Pace, Florida. Her New Beginning: On Wednesday, August 7, 2013, her dad, Fred went to be with her mom, Geneva in Heaven. He told her Lisa is sick and needs to be here with us. They asked God to bring her home and God said: "Permission Granted". On Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 6:23 AM, God called Lisa home and said: "No more Sickness, No more Suffering". Her Memory: Preceded her in death were her parents, Fred and Mamie Geneva Lewis. Memories Remain: Her son Barry McClain Jr. (his friend Haley Allison), daughter Felisa McClain, Granddaughter Laila Lee Bradshire, two brothers Willie Lewis, Frederick (Cheryl) Lewis, one nephew Timothy Lewis, Grandmother Louise Lewis, Stepmother Christine Lewis, Step-brothers Kenneth Walton and Calvin Johnson, Step-sister Mitzi Longmire. A host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Special friends Barry McClain, Sr., Mark Blackmon, and Lawanda Tripp. Order of Service: Elder Frederick Smith, Sr. ~ Presiding "I am the resurrection and the life.
