Loris Ann Diddle, beloved wife, daughter, sister and aunt, died at home, in Garcon Point, Florida, on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Loris is preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis; and a brother, Keith. She is survived by her husband, Scot Diddle; father, Jim Cooper; two brothers, Jerry and wife Janet, Jim Jr. and wife Tammy; sister-in-law, Linda; three nieces, Emily, Rachel, and Lindsey; and four nephews, James, Travis, Clay and Nathan. Loris was born into a military family at Clark AFB, Philippine Islands, on December 20, 1958. Being the youngest child and the only daughter, Lori s was cherished, indulged and slightly spoiled by parents and brothers alike. She grew up on Air Force Bases located in several states. Loris was a graduate of Choctawhatchee High School and the Pensacola State College Dental Hygienist School. Loris married the love of her life, Scot Diddle, on April 30, 1988, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She and Scot lived in several locations while practicing their respective professions. Loris’s love, help and support during her mother’s extended illness reflect her compassion and caring nature. Loris valued and loved her family, Scot’s family and her loyal friends. She treated her cherished Poodles as children and they responded in kind. Loris will be remembered and missed by all that know her. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel (6405 Highway 90 West, Milton, Florida 32570). Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Flowers are welcome and can be sent to Lewis Funeral Home in Milton.
