Luna Faye Blackwell, 90, of Pace, was welcomed home to the Lord, Friday, April 10, 2015. What a great loss for her family and friends, but heaven is rejoicing. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and Nana. She was born in Jay, Florida, on February 21, 1925. She was a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Pace. Faye is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Blackwell; two sons, Larry (Dayle), and Bobby; three daughters, Cindy (Joel) Melton, Marsha (Steve) Hadder, and Connie (Jerry) Eller; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery in Chumuckla. Pallbearers will be Travis Hadder, Brent Blackwell, Jordan and Patrick Melton, Nathan Wiggins, and Taylor Blackwell. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace. A special thanks to Renee, Lisa and the entire staff at Regency Hospice.
