Margaret Manning

Margaret Marie Manning, age 74, of Milton, Florida, Community of Roeville, passed away, Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Margaret was born on February 6, 1943, in Andalusia, Alabama. She was the last of three children born to Laura and Andrew Holliday. She went to Murphy High School in Mobile, Alabama. Margaret retired after 23 years of service with Halls Ace Hardware in Milton, Florida. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; and her two older sisters, Carolyn Davis and Libby Henderson. Margaret is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Manning, of Milton, Florida; two daughters, Sheron (Tony) Nall and Karon (Paul) Blalack; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Aimee) Adams, Lindsay (Jacob) Rea, Kyle (Lauren) Pettie, David Hutcheson Jr., Summer (Kenny) Way, and Destinee (Antonio) Rodriguez; and ten great-grandchildren, Addie Adams, Ethan, Caleb, Violet and Myla Rea, William, Hadley and Chandler Pettie, Nathan Hutcheson, and Tayden Rodriquez. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Pastor Randy Pittman officiating. Burial will follow services in Crain Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice for the loving care provided to our loved one, Margaret Manning.
