Margaret “Walene” Stoltman, 71, of Pace, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was born in Pace on November 21, 1944. Walene was a devoted wife, mother, and MawMaw, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid quilter and sewing hobbyist. Walene lovingly passed her passion for crafts and sewing onto her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Illa and Acy Lowery, Jr.; and two brothers, Ralph Lowery and Ray Lowery. Walene is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, John Peter Stoltman; three sons, John (Tina) Stoltman, Anthony (Susan) Stoltman, and Bradley (Angela) Stoltman; eight grandchildren, Travis, Bradley, Samantha, Jesse, Kayla, Jadey, Toni and Chelsea; five great-grandchildren, Emily, Addilyn, Rosalie, Rory and Ella; three brothers, W.A. Lowery, Wayne Lowery, and Michael Lowery; her sister, Barbara Hewitt; and a host of extended family and her “sew-sew friends”. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Milton. Entombment will follow services at Memory Park Cemetery. The Stoltman family thanks the staff of Covenant Care for their loving care of Walene. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Walene’s memory to the Bereavement Fund at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (6451 Park Avenue, Milton, Florida 32570).
