Margie Armstrong

Ms. Margie Joy Armstrong, age 77, died of natural causes in her home in Milton, Florida on Friday, September 6, 2013. Born on February 14, 1936 in Atmore, Alabama to the late Oris and Maude Davis, she lived in various cities before settling in Milton. She worked as an office administrator with Saltmarsh, Cleaveland, and Gund until her year of retirement. Margie enjoyed traveling, knitting, clogging, Alabama football and spending time with friends and family. Margie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin Hendrix, and two brothers. Margie is survived by her children, Terry Blanton of Atmore, AL, Keisha (Hendrix) Gilroy of Murphy, NC, Steven Hendrix of Evans, GA, Shannon (Hendrix) Folsom of Brewton, AL, Stacey (Hutchinson) Caldwell of Charlotte, NC, and Scott Hutchinson of Floyd, WV, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five brothers, two sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
