Maria Maldonado Joiner, 52, of Milton, Florida, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018. Maria was born in Kileen, Texas. She loved to fish, watch NASCAR, go the beach, and was a huge Alabama Crimson Tide fan. “Roll Tide!” Maria was the consummate nurturer. She lived for her children and deeply loved her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Laura. Maria is survived by three sons, William (Caitlin) Joiner, Timothy (Jade) Joiner, and Josh (Amanda) Joiner; ten grandchildren, Karlee, Maddie, Vivian, Wyatt, Roman, Azrian, Olivia, Christian, Adalynn, and Elijah; and her former husband, James Joiner. She is also survived by her father, Henry Q. (Betty) Maldonado; mother, Martha D. Maldonado; two brothers, Henry (Lisa) Maldonado and Clay (Robin) Pouquette; two sisters, Angela (John) and Teresa (Doug); nieces, Carly (Chris), Nicole, Lindsay (Terry), Brandi, and Samantha; nephew, Jerry Lee; four great-nieces, Tatum, Peyton, Kyleigh, and Audrey; two great-nephews, Kayden and CJ. As well as, Leah Canchola (Adalynn's mother) and Shelly Moore (Maddie's mother). Private family visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; and the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
