Marijane Sawdon Battles, age 82, of Milton, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, with her family at her side. Marijane was born to Ray and Nadine Sawdon in Keokuk, Iowa, in 1933. Janie, as she was known by her friends, was a successful accountant for more than twenty years. After her retirement, her joy in life was time spent with her children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved ice cream, peach milkshakes, and trips to Sweet Frog with her great grandchildren. She was a very social lady and made many friends over games of Bingo and Bunco. In her later years, she enjoyed the encouragement and friendship of her church family. She was an avid reader and always had a crossword puzzle nearby. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri Bishop. Janie is survived by her grandson Allen Kleback and Sunny and their children Josh and Shelby and their son Grayson, Taylor and Logan; grandson Kenneth Kleback and Margaret and their children Chloe, Henry and Michael; grandson Douglas Kleback and Angel and their son Kingston; granddaughter Michelle Colston and Fred and their children Halee, Laterrin and Mea; daughter Jaye Errickson her husband Ken, granddaughter Molly Selby and David and children Erica and Jacob, grandson Adam Errickson, and Tonya and their children Kenneth and Garrett; her son John S. Bishop his wife Donna R., granddaughter Magan D. Scuteri and Christopher Scuteri, granddaughter Jacqulyn S. Bishop, granddaughter Ashley D. Bishop and Paul Andrade and their daughter Juliana S. Andrade; her daughter Melinda Battles and grandson Tyler Battles. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Grace Bible Church, Milton. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements.
