Marilyn Browder Obituary

Marilyn "Gail" Browder, 76, of Milton, Florida, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017. She was born August 14, 1941, to Jeston Sidney and Hilda Ernestine (Harris) Goza in Camden, Arkansas, where she developed a love for travel at a young age because of her father's calling as a traveling Baptist minister. She left Hoxie High School in Hoxie, Arkansas, just one credit shy of graduation. After this time, she married a military man and continued to travel, living in such places as Turkey and Spain. Finally, after she became a grandmother, she made her home in Milton, where she met the love of her life Willis "Bull" Browder. They dated for many years before they were married in 1988. She was of the Baptist faith. Gail was the matriarch of a large family. She was a homemaker who always kept busy. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, doll making and crocheting. She also had a passion for books that she passed down to all her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bull; her oldest son, Sidney Alfred Carr; daughter, Susie Wells; and brother, Gary Goza. Gail is survived by two sisters, Vera Word and JoNell Goza; one brother, Ron Goza; her children, Kim Browder, Shawn Browder, Renee Lawrence, David Carr, Karen Worley, and Steven Carr; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
