Marjorie Louise Jones, age 88, passed away quietly at her home in Pace, Florida, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Louise was a kind, loving and caring person to everyone. She was a devoted mom and wife to her family. Louise retired from Yazoo Manufacturing Company in Jackson, Mississippi, after 45 years of service. She was also the bookkeeper for the family business, Jones Repair Center, for over 20 years. In 2008, she and her husband moved from Jackson, Mississippi, to Pace, Florida, to be near family. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas Jones, their love for each other shown throughout the years by being so inseparable. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Surviving children are Terry and Rhonda Jones of Pace, Florida; Tommy and Susan Jones of Woodstock, Georgia; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2019, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel. Burial will follow services at 1:00 p.m., in Barrancas National Cemetery, onboard Pensacola Naval Air Station. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., prior to the service.
