Mary L. Jordan, 88, passed away peacefully into the arms of God, on April 2, 2016. She was born on May 2, 1927, in Sumter, North Carolina, to John & Emily Yates, and loved by her step-father, Calvin Browder. She was married to Bob F. “Robert” Jordan for 42 wonderful years. She is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Ken) Massengale of Brandon, Mississippi, Diane (Doug) Randolph of Milton, Florida, and Vickie S. Pertuz of Milton, Florida, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Mary enjoyed the beach, cooking and entertaining for family and friends. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, and laid to rest following the services at Milton Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
