Isaiah 40:31 Mary Ann Swanson, 70 years old, of Bratt, Florida, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015. Mary was a native of Chicago, Illinois, and was the youngest of three daughters born to Eugene and Vera Lutz. She was a graduate of Steinmetz High School in Chicago, and also a graduate of Pensacola Junior College. She was a retired LPN from Azalea Trace of Pensacola, Florida, and a member of New Beginnings UPC of Berrydale, Florida. Mary is survived by her husband, Peter Swanson; children, Sandra Young of Jay, Florida, Mary Ann Lindberg of Bay Minette, Alabama, and Thomas A. Watts of Jay, Florida; two sisters, Marilyn Kuntz and Suzy Young; and eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren with a 6th expected in February. Funeral services for Mary Ann Swanson will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Anthony Mitchell and Rev. Jimmy Mitchell officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., prior to the services. Burial will follow services at New Beginnings UPC Cemetery of Berrydale, Florida. Pallbearers will be Thomas A. Watts, Steven Blanton, Kevin Lee, Dakotah Moffa, Mark Foley, Isaiah Burnett and Caleb Burnett. The family would like to thank the professionals at Baptist Health Care for the kindness and compassion.
