Max Godwin

Max Randall Godwin, 66 of Milton, FL passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013. Mr. Godwin was born on April 23, 1946 to the late Fonzie Lee and Winnie Shiver Godwin. He had worked 30 years for the Santa Rosa County Electrical Inspectors office. He is preceded in death not only by his parents; his sister, Linda Joyce Bills; his brothers, James Royce Godwin and Fonzie Lee Godwin, Jr.; and his nephew, Matthew Solari. Mr. Godwin is survived by his son, Jon Macon Godwin; daughter, Tracie Godwin; grandchildren, Randy Godwin, Brian Douglas Godwin, Amanda Sizemore; sisters, Laurice (Charlie) Solari and Marilyn Gale (Jim) Braswell; uncle and aunts, Eddie and Landis Godwin and Dorothy "Dot" Godwin; cousins, Clifford (Linda) Godwin; Mark (Aimee) Solari; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Solari, Courtney Solari, Bryan Martin Godwin, Tonya Henson, Brian James Godwin, Heidi and Scott Linde, Lee and Judy Bills, and Lynn Hendrickson. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Rev. David Floyd, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Level Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Clifford Godwin, Tyler Godwin, Charlie Solari, Mark Solari, Bryan Godwin, and David Hawkins .
